Description

Working Antique Edison-Dick Mimeoscope with Original Glass made by A.B. Dick Company Chicago U.S.A. Cast Iron Base Table Original Plaque & Decals

Tracing table with Wood trim top and Original Frosted Glass drawing surface panel. Rotating / turning column on a Cast Iron Tripod Base. Has the Original Porcelain Light Socket and Original Cord and Plug.

The Light Bulb Socket works, and the cord is in very good, non-frayed condition.

The original thick glass insert is in good to excellent shape for its age, with age-appropriate wear and some chips.

A piece like this is hard to find intact and in this type of condition.

Exceptional piece, in very good / excellent to near-mint condition.

Approximately 29 x 21 x 15.25 (height x width x length).
The glass drawing panel area measures approximately 15 x 8.75 inches.

Believed to be circa 1910’s / 1920’s.

Was used as a base for a table via the addition of a large vintage wood and metal photo enlarging easel sitting (unattached) on the top of the wood frame of the mimeograph (which also helped to protect the mimeoscope glass).

The photographic easel measures approximately 29 inches wide x 22 inches deep by 3 inches tall (bottom of wood base to top of easel knobs) overall and is sold separately.
