Description
This is an excellent example of an early J & G Meakin Hanley Ironstone pitcher, free of any visible crazing, chips, or cracks in the china or the glaze! There is almost no wear considering it’s age!
Measuring approximately 5 inches wide x 8 inches x 8 inches tall, the pitcher is signed with the maker’s mark on the bottom.
There is an indent on the bottom rim (as can be seen in the detail photo) likely due to the manufacturing process, that does not detract from the overall desirability, beauty or use of the piece!
